FAAB spent$144

The Wednesday waiver report

Wednesday's High Noon, where dignity goes to die

ButtHoleTrolls torched $71 — nearly three-quarters of their damn budget — on Ollie Gordon II, a RB34 who 8 different teams were slobbering over like it was the last piece of chicken at the family reunion. Alex can afford it sitting pretty at 3-0 in 2nd place, but spending that much FAAB on a guy ranked 130 overall is the kind of move that ages like milk in July. Meanwhile Captain Scurve blew $37 on Jaylen Wright, the RB63 who also drew 5 claims, because apparently everyone in this league suddenly believes in Miami backfields. That's 3 running backs added league-wide, so enjoy the RB run, gentlemen.

The real bargains were in the kicker gutter, where American AF — still winless and parked in 12th — found Spencer Shrader for a measly $4 after dumping a higher-ranked kicker, and Beats by JJ grabbed Will Reichard, the actual K5, for $2. Two bucks for a top-5 kicker is the one good decision anybody made all day. J-Rod the Bod and Three Stripe Life both paid a grand total of $0 for their DSTs, which tracks for a guy who can't stop texting dick pics into the league chat and a man whose childhood was literally stolen by the USSR swim program.

19 of 27 claims cratered, mostly because people couldn't be bothered to check if their droppable fodder was already gone. Half this league needs the manual more than FAAB.
